OUR MISSION

Rwanda’s efforts in eradicating poverty, promoting education, and overall raising the well-being of its citizens is commendable, but the journey is still long. Over the past six years, Imana Kids has worked in Rwanda, specifically Kigali and Bugesera to create long-term, sustainable solutions to help some vulnerable children attend school, have healthcare, and have three nutritious meals a day.

WHAT WE DO

SPONSORSHIP

We link children with sponsors who provide essential support for education, ensuring basic needs are met. Sponsors receive updates and letters from their child and can send gifts in return. Join us in making a difference.

THE SPARROW'S NEST

Since October 2014, we've provided a safe haven called Sparrow's Nest for our Imana Kids, offering food, shelter, and care when they're out of school or unwell. It's also a hub for tutoring, counseling, and spiritual guidance. Our Go Be Love teams visit Sparrow's Nest regularly.

HOPE VILLAGE

Our dream of a trauma-informed school and care facilities in Rwanda is becoming real! Phase 1—10 primary classrooms—is funded, but COVID-19 delays securing local contractors. Our unique design prioritizes optimal learning environments. We need committed local partners to build our Hope Village.

VISITING

Imana Kids began with a Go Be Love team led by Kara and Ryan Higgins, inspired by God. Our mission is for every child to know they're loved as a child of God. We demonstrate this love by regularly visiting Sparrow's Nest with short-term mission teams through Go Be Love.
