NEWS & HAPPENINGS

We are happy to report that all schools in Rwanda are back in session, with boarding students staying on campus again.

Our pastoral director, James Odongo, writes:

"During the covid-19 our kids and their families were affected by the consequences of Covid-19, getting food was a change but through your support they were able get food, and survived. During Covid 19 many students in the national became pregnant and lost school, but we thank God that the Imana kids girls were preserved by the grace of God. Kids tried to work at school, some have improved others are still struggling but we keep on encouraging them to work hard. Kids at Sparrows are doing great, spiritually they are growing, they are changing positively though some are still struggling but we're praying for them encouraging them to put more effort to improve, hygiene and cleanliness is becoming a life style. Students in independent housing are really struggling, wanting to steal and sell things. We really need to pray."

Our prayer is that as routines and structure return, all our students may again thrive in the classroom and in the home. Thank you for your continued support as we navigate these unchartered waters.

If you'd like to help Isaac, we'd love to hear from you!

Although we don't yet have travel dates for teams, our co-founder, Ryan Higgins, will be traveling to Rwanda in June to finalize details with the engineering and architectural firms.

We eagerly anticipate ground breaking this summer with hopes to be using classrooms for the 2022 school calendar year.
